Destinee Germany is a junior at the University of Louisville studying Pan-African Studies. During her time at UofL, Destinee has served on plenty of student organizations that have led to her overall personal growth and development. Continuously priding herself on high scholastics and ethical standards, Destinee is a Woodford R. Porter Scholar, Muhammad Ali Scholar, and an Honors Scholar. She thoroughly enjoys being of service to all mankind, which led to her initiation into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Aside from these accomplishments as a first-generation college student, the most recent opportunity that Destinee has been blessed with is representing the Commonwealth of Kentucky as Miss Black Kentucky USA. During her service-oriented reign, she will be simultaneously preparing for the National Pageant in Washington D.C. where she will compete to obtain the title of Miss Black USA. All in all, Destinee is so excited to spend the next two years fulfilling areas of enrichment that she prides herself on – sisterhood, scholarship, and service!
